The changing landscape of how we work
Remoter Podcast season 2 releases The changing landscape of how we work with Joseph Vito DeLuca of Kambr.
As a continuation of season 1 with Andrés Cajiao and Alexander Torrenegra, Remoter continues in its second season with the opportunity to interview some remote work leaders, ranging from companies, consultants, advocates, and more, to add to Remoter’s stash of free resources and human-centered stories, enriching our educational platform about remote work.
On this recording of the Remoter podcast… Joseph Vito DeLuca is the Marketing Executive at Kambr and the founder of Yellow Cat Five, Kambr’s upcoming in-house branding agency. He welcomed Remoter into their coworking space and spoke to us one rainy February morning. Kambr is focused on lifting the airline model and creating harmony between traveling and the traveler. They are building an ambitious business model, segmenting their main company into 4 independent sections on top of being a globally distributed team. Joe spoke with Remoter about where he sees the future of work heading, especially for traditional creative/marketing agencies, and the ways they’d have to adapt to make sure they aren’t falling behind. Remember, the 9 to 5 workweek was created to serve the needs of the industrial era. We’ve moved away from that ages ago, and there’s no better time to experiment. Being a team lead in a remote company has taught Joe the importance of questioning the status quo and implement changes in his workforce that he wants to see being normalized by the masses down the road, and the first step is by sharing his and Kambr’s story, mission and values.
