If you already run or work at a remote company, then you’ll probably be agreeing with the message of this entire episode.

In person retreats are very important for companies to plan and execute!

Biggest DON’T

  • Use this as a time to strategize or work with your teammates in person. You can do that remotely, as that’s the nature of your company anyways.

Biggest DO

  • Take the time to get to know your co-workers! Do some team building activities, strengthen your bond with your co-workers and teammates and just enjoy the time you have with them. This experience will help improve your team culture and connections in the long run.

Make the most out of the retreat and the face time you get with your team.

Again, we continue to take in requests and suggestions on who Josephine should be visiting and interviewing for season 2. If you have any suggestions, please leave it in the comments below or contact us here.

Hosted by Remoter Ambassador Josephine Tse and Torre's Chief Growth Officer Andrés Cajiao, this podcast will take you on a journey as we cover topics surrounding how to build and/or scale your very own remote-first teams.
